Let good dental health start early in your child’s life. By cultivating good habits when your child is young, you can teach him or her the importance of strong, bright, and healthy teeth. Southridge Pediatric Dentistry is here to help you. We offer a variety of services aimed specifically at helping both you and your child understand the importance of good dental hygiene.

Here is a list of  services we offer:

Our doctors provide routine cleanings to help your kids maintain good oral health. With regular teeth cleanings, we can also detect signs of any potential dental problems your child may have and start early with preventative treatment.

We provide safe dental X-rays to search for cavities on and between teeth, check dental damage due to trauma, monitor the status of developing teeth, and more.

Children often eat sugary snacks and drink sweetened beverages. These sugars, along with bacteria, form acid in your child’s mouth that can cause dental caries and other issues. Our practice provides professional fluoride treatment to protect your child’s teeth from acids in their mouth.

Our dentists provide sealants for a child’s molars, pre-molars, and, occassionally other tooth surfaces to keep teeth protected against dental plaque. Together with regular tooth brushing, dental sealants can reduce the risk of tooth decay and related problems.

White Fillings

In case your child already has tooth decay, our dentists will remove the decayed area and then fill the tooth with safe, health-friendly white fillings. These dental fillings do not only keep the natural look and feel of the tooth, but they also help prevent future tooth decay.

Here at Southridge Pediatric Dentistry, we do our best to address any special needs your children may have. For instance, our dentists provide sedation if your child can’t relax or calm down enough for the procedure to be performed safely.

Hospital Dentistry

We offer hospital dentistry for patients who have special medical needs which make it unsafe to perform dental procedures in the office, or who are too young to undergo a treatment in the office.

Orthodontics Space Maintainers

For young patients who lost a baby tooth too early, we provide orthodontic space maintainers. These are devices that keep the empty tooth space open until a permanent tooth erupts and grows into its place.

And much more!
